So many of you know we came out with one of the first bumper mounted reverse kits with the Baja Designs Lights.
After many requests we finally put together a Diode Dynamics version of our kit. We were mainly waiting for our new harnesses to arrive so that we didn't have to customize every single kit that went out. They finally showed up the other day (along with our pigtails).
This kit comes with lights, brackets and wiring harness making it a breeze to get rear facing light setup on your truck! Everything you need in one kit.
Our custom made wiring harness is designed to give you complete control over your reverse lights. You can choose to activate the lights from your upfitter switch and automatically while putting your truck in reverse. A built in diode prevents power from back-feeding into the factory reverse circuit, protecting your factory lights. This also means your reverse lights serve a dual purpose. Throw a set of Amber Rock Guards on the lights and you've now got a set of chase lights for the trails.
The included KR Off-Road extension bracket allows the lights to hang from factory bolts under your truck. This bracket is made right here in the USA out of 11 gauge stainless steel (and powder coated black) ensuring a lifetime of durability.

For those curious you are NOT required to connect this to an upfitter switch. It's completely optional. If you don't want to control them from an upfitter (as a 2nd way to power them) simply zip tie the bundle up and out of the way for future use. You can easily install this without running the harness up to your upfitter as we include the Diode Dynamics in-line connection (plugs right in-line with your factory tail lights... no need to even remove the tail lights so it's easy to install).
So the lights turn on automatically in reverse AND/OR from an upfitter. Your choice (both methods built into the kit and you can have both methods setup).
