holes on the front skid? I get that they are for smaller rocks to fall through perhaps.....but what about getting snagged?
That's a great question. Two reasons really. Firstly, the intercooler is right behind that skid so the holes provide airflow. Secondly, it cuts down on weight. The weight adds up pretty quick, so where we can we try to cut it out.
There is a ton of stuff in a stock-ish IFS front end to get hung up on. We designed the front skid with that in mind. I won't say it would "never" happen because that's asking for it, but the gradual ramp from the bumper to the front suspension cross-member is super smooth.
