I have not spoken to Gibbons but I will certainly bring it up with the internet sales manager. Not sure if they would be interested or not. Last I talked to them they already had 50ish reservations and that was almost a month ago.
I talked to Gibbons and they already have 60 plus reservations. They said they will be selling at MSRP and will accept x plan.

I am part of the MD and VA group buy and since they have almost 100 people so far I am going to make that my primary group.

That being said I am in Lancaster PA with a reservation at Hundru Ford in Manheim.
4 door base but might upgrade to bandlands depending on option pricing.

I will for sure follow you guys to see what deal you can get.

Thanks.

Looking to put in my reservation with Ditschman, curious as to see what you can get out of them. Will be looking out for your follow up
This is what I got from Ditschman:
Dan, Thanks for reaching out. First and foremost, we will never list a vehicle above MSRP. We do not know what rebates/lease programs will be available but can say for certain that it is against our culture to sell a vehicle above sticker. We were hoping to catch an in person glimpse at the NY AutoShow which was unfortunately canceled. At this time, we don't have any information on if we can expect to see a model before we take orders. If something pops up I will give you a shout. We appreciate your loyalty and look forward to working with you on your Bronco. Please reach out at anytime with questions.

Respectfully,

Fair enough. I did add you to our list just so we can gauge what sort of numbers we could be looking at.

I sat 2 feet away from Michael Barone last night while my son was talking to his salesman next to us. I informed Mr. Barone of this web site, kind of curious to see if he will stop by. Talked about quite a few things from this forum, to other deals that some places are already giving (ie. $1000 below invoice, $2000 below MSRP, $500 accessory credit), to no pricing available and so on. I did basically get the same speech from him about family dealership, great price and so on. Also that Ditschman has no plans on deals as of this time. Pretty dropped the hint that we are 35 strong and our numbers are growing... not looking to steal from a dealer, just looking for a good deal that works for all involved.

Later on took a drive to Fred Beans Ford in Langhorne. Talked to saleswoman (they did NOT have a Bronco Specialist yet because management recently changed). Pretty much got the same story as Ditschman with nothing at this time except for x-plan/MSRP.

To close out my story here, son ended up buying from Fred Beans who beat Ditschman by about $2700 on same vehicle. Just is what it is. I'll keep everyone posted if any new information comes to light.

Edit: One last thing for anyone near Flemington Ford... Don't try asking for a brochure today, I got the LAST ONE last night ? Sorry

I just sent Mr Barone a follow up email asking about specials that Ditschman might be working on so hopefully that email immediately following your conversation last night will atleast get “the family” to discuss reconsidering offering at least something.

@EvlNvrDys You might as well put me on the list. Like you have said, we all may have a different idea as to what the best deal is - that is unless someone offers a Granger type deal. Then it's a no brainer.

I will say I am very surprised about how non-committal dealers in this area are being. When most tell you about being a family dealership, never lose customer because of price. You'd think that 20, 40, 60 EXTRA orders would be enticing enough for someone to get something together and say look, "We decided all Bronco6g members will get 'X'. But feels like no one has any plans of that as of now.

Snuck ya in there awhile back. Hoping we can strike something up somewhere.

Personally, I'm not that surprised. Commiting to a pricing structure and marketing it before the complete vehicle optional pricing details come out is a little risky and dealerships likely see fads come and go all the time. I understand their skepticism of a bunch of online forum commenters chewing the fat over a car they WANT to buy...

That being said, Granger and others have demonstrated that the risk is manageable and the threshold to get the attention of car buyers is actually really low: just be honest. I think we'll see more dealerships pop-up here once the build and price tools are out and as we get closer to the deadline to swap your reservation.

I just reached out to schultz where my reservation is at. We shall see what they say. Also for the spreadsheet I'm in Rockland with a black diamond. Thanks for the time you're putting into this @EvlNvrDys .

I can understand someone not wanting to put anything on the line that can burn them in say a month or two. But even the people I talk to, I just don't see the excitement WE have over the new Bronco. Hell, I'm not really seeing any level of excitement.

And once again, we are talking about the possibility of a dealership getting upwards of 50 or more Bronco orders with not having to do anything but give us a good deal. You want to give me 50 of something that I don't have to work all that hard for? I'm all in.

At least so far we've seen @Granger Ford and @Mickeysales poking around here trying to earn our business simply by posting on this forum.. telling us what they currently offer. And yes, every dealer I've spoken to so far, I let them know about Bronco6g and the thousands of members we already have. Maybe I should start to mention the tens of thousands that visit this site and just haven't made an account yet.

None - i just got off the phone with a dealer that sounded like he was being bothered. They aren't able to make a killing, i get it, but whatever. I'm just waiting to see what @Mickeysales can come up with. Big opportunity for them.
