No Anniversary Present

Just venting like many. When I reserved our Bronco last year, based on the known information, updates, projected time lines, etc. I presumed we would receive it this Fall, possibly late Summer. My wife and I considered it a 25th Anniversary Gift (September 2021) for ourselves. I even got excited and ordered a big Silver bow for it. Well the May promise of a build time line fell through. Communication is so poor I really have no idea when we will receive it. As another Member here stated a few days ago...it's also embarrassing....friends constantly asking if we got it yet. The excitement is over. I boxed up all the swag and accessories and put it away. Funny thing about that bow....I bought it so long ago....I can't even find it. For all those in the same boat.....we feel each others anguish over this.

I totally feel you.. my vehicle was my 50th gift to myself. I turned 50 on June 1.... now I am stressed as my husband is looking to be taking a job across the country mid to late September. Apparently my 2dr BB was built 7/21 and just sitting.. noone can tell me when it's shipping. I was so excited when I was told it was built thinking I would have it within a couple of weeks... nope! My tracker still shows in production... and yes I dread anyone asking me about it.

Totally feel ya- Mine was supposed to be my 50th B-day present from wife. That was in March - so I'm hoping maybe by my 51st.

I feel ya, the worst is all my friends and family asking when I am getting my bronco. "Yeah, I have a build date of 8/9!, might have it by Labor Day!" Now moved to September (and we all know that date won't hold). I am just going to put my phone on do not disturb and lock myself in the house for the rest of year.

Same here. Moving across the country and will likely need to fly back to VA to pick it up if it doesn't arrive by the end of September

Yep, mine was supposed to be my 50th b-day present too and was wanting it for when my daughter returned for the summer from overseas. Now she is heading back Aug. 29th and I don't even have a build date yet. Also, I get the constant "Any word on your Bronco yet?" from everybody on a daily basis. At this point it might be my 51st b-day before seeing it...early June.

Couldn’t agree more. Waiting sucks, but answering people who keep asking drives me nuts. I know they’re doing it to be nice and show an interest in what I’m excited for, it just doesn’t help the situation

Was supposed to be my wife's bday present,. Her bday is in July. I get the same from friends and family asking where it is. The non stop, I saw a Bronco today, where is yours!! No, you saw a Bronco Sport She is now talking about just keeping her Jeep, I really hate the Jeep!!

I'm 42 and I'm pretty sure my Bronco is going to be my 50th birthday present to myself lol. If only there were a device Ford could use to communicate with their customers.

Totally agree....the communication has been terrible. Maybe they are afraid if they were totally honest with us.....more would dump their orders.
