Has anyone had this happen or an explanation?:
My Bronco is on a Deltran Battery Tender, always has been. Shows battery at full charge.
I needed to get something out of the Bronco. Open door, window does it's up down thing but I notice no lights come on and the dash does not light up, no dome light. Basically, it appears dead. I go get the FOB, press the button once on the dash for accessory status and everything powers up. I get out close the door, open the door and now everything seems normal and powers up as it is supposed to when you open the door (even without the FOB).
Did the vehicle have a brain fart? Is it possible a download has occurred and I needed to press the dash button to basically awake the vehicle?
Ideas????
This has not happened before and I want to make sure it is quasi-normal so I do not get stranded somewhere.

Thank you!

I think I may have figured this out.
I checked my FordPass APP and there was a download-update occuring at the very time I went out to my Bronco. I am guessing the dash goes into this "darkness" mode while having downloads to the system.
This morning, open the door and everything lights up as usual.
DO YOU CONCUR? COMMENTS?
Thank you.

I did RTFM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was likely due to a download that was occurring at the exact moment....not sleep mode.

Yeah the app will also tell you it's in deep sleep, so definitely not that. I'm a mechanic so I'm all about RTFM, but I'm not a dick about it with no evidence to support the manual not being read haha
