For those of you experienced off-road people here close to the Bay Area, where would be good places for a mixed group of us to start gaining experience as well as enjoy our new rigs together (when they get delivered of course)?

Nob Hill or Powell St......and if you don't mind a little drive, there is the OHV Park just outside Hollister. I of course have the Sierra Nevada mountains in my backyard recently ravaged by the Creek Fire

Prairie City outside of Rancho Cordova/Folsom has an OHV with a 4x4 driving course which would be a perfect place to practice and get some tips. I am also probably able to get some professional instruction for us. Lots of experience and connections with our wildland off road driving for the fire department. I was just out there theee weeks ago putting our wildland fire engines through the course.

I made it out to Kaiser Pass while I was on the Creek Fire. Pretty country out there.
