I’ve searched and have been unable to get a simple answer to this question- What are the options at this point for wiring an amplifier or amplifiers to the stock head unit, other than utilizing a high level to RCA converter? I’m assuming the stock head unit does not have RCA outs. I appreciate the help.

What are you looking at doing? Just adding an amp or two to the stock system? Whats your end goal?

Yes, would like to add two amps. I’ve used a high level to RCA converter in the past but obviously that is less than ideal.

I’ve always been a JL Audio fan, I would check out what they have if you do not want to use a inexpensive converter. I assume the second amp would be for a subwoofer? There are a couple threads on this forum about building a system.
Great, thanks. I’ll check that out. That’s been another question of mine- who makes a high quality high-level converter.
Yes, one amp will be a four channel and a second for a sub.

Replace the speakers and add a powered sub 🤷
I dunno if you're gonna get reference grade audio from a stock Ford head unit anyway, especially with the vehicle going down the highway. Lol

There are tons of amps these days that will take line level input… so, no real reason to buy a stand alone converter. Some of them also have pre-outs to connect a second amp using traditional RCA cables as well. My personal preference is to run a DSP for the ability to tune the way I like… takes a lot to setup, but worth it IMO.
