Patching MGV seats

Hello all,

Has anyone patched marine grade vinyl? I have a working dog, and, very unprofessionally, let her ride in the back seat. I have (had) a neoprene rear seat cover. When she jumped in my truck yesterday morning it shredded and left two small tears in the vinyl underneath. I am not concerned about perfect cosmetics but want to keep it from getting worse. Does anyone have a (preferably tried and proven) repair technique?

There are some DIY products online but I think you’d be happier with a professional doing that job. I research a boat upholstery or someone that works with automotive interiors. They’d be able to make a fix and make it far better than any DIY kit. It’ll be more expensive but I think better in the long run.

Punctures can be sealed with the clear gorilla glue, u say its shredded, u mean longways with exposed fabric?
