I think the Basequatch is probably the best deal for the money for those who are doing rock-climbing and stuff. But it ends up being only a couple grand less than a standard non-Sas Black Diamond. I don't need or want Sas, so the standard BD works for my off-roading.
I also think the BD grill is the best.
All this said, I really kind of wish I'd just gone with a non-Sas Base for financial reasons.
