I've used this for years for frames, skid plates. etc. When it gets scratched just shake the can and apply some more.

It is garaged and driven on the coast here 7 months a year.
Maybe put a coat of wax on it once a year.

Ah, Yes! Fenwick Is area was my favorite driving place 'till I moved South. Now it's NE Florida or OBX . . . No beach driving in SC!
