Since I am still underwhelmed with my ProCal tune - has anyone added Pedal Commander as well?

I have the ProCal, I tried the Pedal Commander and returned it. It only changes the pedal sensitivity and the drivability was terrible, does nothing to improve performance or lag. Just push the gas pedal harder, same effect.

The Banks Pedalmonster is a much better product. I use one on my big trucks, but haven't put on on the Bronco yet.

The reverse lockout and the fact you won't lose your pedal if the unit fails are big selling points. It's made in the USA (Well, CA, which almost counts! :D), if that matters to you.

I called Banks and asked them about the Pedalmonster. Neither it or Pedal Commander will reduce lag. They just modify the signal from the pedal to the computer. The lag is in the computer programming.

BTW, the guy at Banks was very knowledgeable.

I picked up a used pedal commander for $125. For that price I figured I'd give it a shot. I like the pedal response much better myself. Like every mod your experience may vairy.

I have a manual. The engine lags the throttle when I lift off when shifting. To prevent that I lift off the throttle about a second before I push in the clutch. Pedal Commander and Pedalmonster won't solve that. I think either could be good for those with automatics.
