Hi Bronco friends. As I write this I remain awaiting delivery, but I've been squirreling away accessories. I have the Ford Accessory "Compartment" kit VM1PZ-78115A00-B, which includes a Bronco branded owner's manual folio. I ordered the printed owner's manual and supplement from Helm. The printed manuals don't fit in the Ford Accessory folio....

You can squeeze them in, but the flap won' t close. The flap has a hard backing inside, perhaps due to the MOLLE loops on the folio cover. With the manual and supplement inside, the folio flap stops at 90 degrees. If you take out the supplement, it gets to about 45 degrees.

I have absolutely no idea why an owner's manual folio needs MOLLE straps on the flap - what would anyone possibly want to strap to an OM folio?

I eagerly await delivery to see whether the key fobs fit into the kit's fob covers, and if the visor organizer fits the visors.

The pic that I posted is the folio with both the owner's manual and supplement stuffed inside.

Side note - I also ordered the generic Ford branded folio cover from Helm along with the printed manuals - no issue with the Helm sourced folio.

First world problems, ahhh! 😉 What is the other manual? I would think you just need one in there. You got the digital manual on the infotainment and probably one on the phone, right?

Hey I totally agree - but the Bronco6G forum family is all about examining, exposing, and discussing everything 6G Bronco under a microscope, and this is what I found.

First world problem is relying on electronics. I'll be ordering a print edition... As long as I have reading glasses, I'm good...
I wanted a printed owner's manual so that I could figure out which fuse to replace when the Sync4 didn't start :) Seriously, I bought a Fusion 3 years ago and haven't touched the owner's manual since delivery to confirm it existed.

I agree, probably not need it. I'm old school, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Not that it'll hep me diagnose and fix an electronics issue, and these are not vehicles that the average, or even above average owner can fix on the side of the road. ***sigh***

Yes, I totally agree it is a first world problem
When I went to Helm.com to order the printed manual, there was also a "supplememt" manual so I ordered both. Haven't broken the sticker on the supplement. Sticker on the suppelement manual stated "resale" - perhaps it is intended for Bronco flippers (not I)

That folio fits the supplemental-quick guide that comes in the Bronco when it is delivered. It’s a condensed version of the full size manual.

Agreed - the Bronco branded Ford Accessory folio fits the supplememt - but not the full owner's manual with or withhout the supplement.

It’s so you can use a carabiner to attach the folio to your belt loop.

That is a hilarious fail.

Not sure why Ford is OBSESSED with molle, but if they were really smart, they would have put velcro on the front and thrown on some sick Bronco/Ford morale patches.
