Definitely taking a test drive before pulling the trigger. I found a 2025 Badlands with HOSS 3.0 that looks pretty compelling.

If you only need a base and you want to trade out of your 2023 due to cost, why not go to a base or a used model if you need the 2.7?
Taking the hit on depreciation and loss of all the front end interest you paid on the loan already.
Going into a new 25 badlands with Hoss 3.0 does not sound like a way to save money to me.

I can't see taking the depreciation hit on one car, then jumping and taking another depreciation hit on another new car, in the guise of lower payments.

Yeah, the payment may be lower, but you're going to be paying for much longer, and man, that's so much money just ... gone.

I am thinking about trading in my '23 Raptor for a '25 Badlands. Mainly to lower my monthly payment, but I would like a more narrow Bronco as well. From an off-road perspective, the base model is the most I actually need, so not as worried about the performance difference.
