Hey everyone,

I’m planning a trip to Rausch Creek next summer and meeting up with a buddy who has a JK Wrangle rwith 2” lift and 34’s.

He wants to do Jeep Badge of Honor trails, and I want to do it with him, but not so sure my Bronco is capable for a couple that are listed.

I’ve got a non-sas OBX on 33’s with rear locker.

What trails would be appropriate for me? Thanks in advance.

I did a bunch of green trails in my Black Diamond with 33s, never had to touch the rear locker.

I hope you are okay with some scraping!

If you go on any blue trails you will definitely be scraping a bunch.

I plan on getting 35s and at least a 2 inch lift before returning.

With 33s and a rear locker you could do the blues. But you'll definitely want rock rails and good skids. I just got back from doing blues at Rausch Creek and I beat the crap out of the skids and got rock rash on all four wheels and the rock rails. It looks properly off-roaded now. I had to use the locker a few times to get through some of the obstacles. But overall the Bronco did really well. In a group of about 12, I was one of three that had smaller than 35s (stock 33" KO2s). Also, Trail 11 is easy. You'd have absolutely no problems with your setup.
