Rear track bar drop/relocation bracket necessary for 3" lift?

Quick question, for 3" of lift is it necessary to add a rear track bar drop/relocation bracket? Road/overland truck. No real wheeling

IMO not necessary but recommended to fix rear bump steer. The relocation brackets actually raise the trac bar on the passenger side axel connection...unless you plan to drop the driver side but there are no after market options available to drop...you'd have to custom build. At 3" of lift I'd recommend an adjustable trac bar as well.

Not necessary but advised. Especially for on-road use. Helps reduce the amount of side to side shift the rear differential does while going over dips and bumps. Probably most noticeable on pavement.

I’m just gonna say “yes”…corrects “roll center” and recenters rear axle…but ya may not die without one…party on!

RockJock relocation bracket and Rancho track adjustable track bar installed. Took 1.5 hours. There is definitely a noticeable difference in driving feel. Corners and curves feel tighter and less mushy. I thought the truck drove fine without the relocation bracket, I was wrong. Though not an accurate way to measure axle center, I measured the distance from outside of tire to fender and each side shows 2.25"
