Can any Base owners confirm that you can remote start your base with the Ford app?

You can on all Automatic transmission equipped broncos from the phone app including the Base model. If you have a manual transmission like me.... no such luck!

Yup! At least The BaseSquatch

I did find out today though…you can only start maybe two times then you have to actually get in it and drive it before It will let you do it again.
I was just playing with it showing my friends!
And the app told me I need to drive it in order to start it next time!
So bossy!!!

Great, I wanted the mid package but didn't want to pay thousands more for the most important item which was the remote start.
I wonder if there is a way to upgrade to a remote fob?

I did find out today though…you can only start maybe two times then you have to actually get in it and drive it before It will let you do it again.
I was just playing with it showing my friends!
And the app told me I need to drive it in order to start it next time!
So bossy!!!

This way it won't kill a family with carbon monoxide, if the car is enclosed in a garage and you have a kid playing with the app.

I use remote start on my Volt all the time, but my Wrangler is manual and it's one of the main reasons the replacement Bronco will be automatic.

I'd like to know if we can add in the factory remote start using the fob also. Ford wants to farm wayyy to much information for the benefit of remote start via fordpass. Driving habits, where you drive and more.
