Meh, I wouldn't be too much in a hurry to make a two door version. No one buys them and Ford is already cutting down trims they are available on. Seems like a losing proposition.

Not sure what you mean by add nearly 6 square feet of storage space. You mean lose 3 square feet so this shelf can be here whereas before you had the ability to put things 3 feet tall but now you’re limited to 18” tall below the shelf and 12” on top it?

You gain square feet but loose a bit of cubic feet.

I built mine from aluminum angle and a half sheet of aluminum from a box store for my 2 door. It held up 5 bags of salt no problem.

I like how you don't have to remove it to take on/off the HT. I have the another version and although I like it, it is definitely a pain to take on and off each time. Nicely done, and the price is decent too.
