Rock Rails & Running Boards Suggestion

I am an aftermarket Running Boards Seller. My factory sent me the design of the rock rails and running boards. Check the pictures. Please tell me which style do you prefer? And any suggestions for improvement? Your information will be highly appreciated! Thank you!

You need the latter for one continuous straight line for rock crawling. The first design will snag a rock/boulder with steps removed.
