I painted the accent plates on my sliders to match my Bronco's body color by going to HD and asking to take just the caps out to my Bronco to match the color in the sun and the blue matches nicely.
Funny thing is the employee asked "if I was going to rattle can paint my Bronco?"
I had to laugh and explain I was painting an accessory, not the truck.
