I decided to give these a try since they were affordable and I like the look of them. They were delivered yesterday and install was very easy and took around an hour. The bottom is 3/4" higher than the factory steps and my daughter was able to use them as a step still. It doesn't list how thick the metal is on Amazon so I'll see how they hold up to rocks.

I wanted to give an update on these. I just finished a couple of days in Moab and while doing a trail called "The Pickle" ended up putting the full weight of the Bronco on the drivers sde slider on an obstacle and it held up and saved me certain body damage. The rear bracket bent and 1 of the bolts to the slider broke l, but the bolts in the body held firm and the slider didn't even dent. I plan on unbolting them and straightening the bent brackets and will most likely reinforce it with some steel plate for added strength but for the price I paid I have been pleasantly surprised.

After unbolting the sliders the 1 that had all the weight on it ripped the nutzerts out of all 3 brackets (just the bottom 1) so I bent the brackets back in shape and tightened the remaining bolts and welded the brackets on the slider side and the metal was thick enough to weld to without burning through it (other than on the hottest setting which did burn through some). I think the brackets bent because the nutzerts came out which allowed them to move so hopefully this will work out for a while at least.
