S&B Cold Air Intake - Raptor Edition

Wondering what the Braptor crew has to say about the upcoming S&B Intake? I’ve been keeping an eye on it and it seems to be shipping on 11/9. Just curious if you’d pick it up, or go with another.

I do plan to go with a catback from borla, if that info might inform any insights.

I've used S&B in the past and was planning on getting this intake as soon as it releases. The date has moved back several times so hopefully Nov 9th sticks.

Very cool. I’m likely to do the same as I’m not seeing much competition out there. I’ve seen references to a Corsa intake here, but haven’t managed to find it.

Spoke to S&B about it, pre-order on their site will open up 11/9, but orders wont ship until end of the month.

I spoke with S&B and they said another few weeks… they shared they were able get the testing done, but that they need to fix 1 part before shipping. Glad they are doing it right… That said, concerning they are still finding issues at this point.

Hopefully, they are not claiming power gains but if so the dyno shows more than 5 hp, which if not, would almost for sure not be repeatable.

Is the only point improved acoustics?

Right! No updates to their website. At this point I’m wondering what went wrong that drove the delays we are seeing. Not confidence inspiring…

From S&B- Tooling broke. So it was redone and about to have the intake ready. The pictures and install video are the production unit on the website
