I considered it but don't want to get involved with that because it is one of the most misunderstood parts of tires. It might be first reason people have bumpy prematurely worn tires.

Tires show MAX pressure like e rated tire might show 80 and ride like a wagon wheel. If you did this on on Fallen e rated tire on bronco you lose traction

Thin OEM good year on light bronco is 39 but too much for maybe an e load rated tire. Pressure is by truck weight not tire number.

Overlanders loaded up will be different than me in 2 door with just my old smelly dog....
I understand it is max pressure however it gives an idea as to what pressure you could expect to end up with.

As an E rated tire that requires 80psi to carry its rated load isn't likely to be able to get lowered as much as an E rated tire that only needs 65psi to do the same.

Yeah but I didn't add E rated tires for list at all. I wouldn't recommend it really.

After some searching I did find TOYO AT 3 in 315/70R17 in D ply at 68 pounds, and RT in same size as c ply.. Not readily searchable. I should update table and will get this.

Oddly only one to go for less than 25 lbs road force locally was Discount Tire. You just need to be able to handle people in the IDGAF+ community so here is a guide as an enthusiast. The high end motor sports would not do it because I am a fucking narc I guess.

1) You brings 5 rims and have them wax pen the exact low spot as one job with Road Force measurements and take them home. Later with cash you get the dedicated road tires. Go home and etch inside as well very slightly. I might be 150 service fee.

2) Get Five of these tires at Discount Tire. C Py will balance well in this style and only 61 lbs!!! The D rated tire is way more common though

Get these specific instructions in sales quote and print out sales quote with this:

* Only use inside rim weights. - Verifiable

* Perform ForceMatching® for the first spin. Align the Toyo Red Dot (high spot) with the previously marked Rim Low Spot. - Verifiable

* Enable the Tire Tagging feature on the Hunter machine. and mark each tire and Provide the Hunter Road Force Summary Printout and the StraightTrak® LFM report showing the final poundage for each Tag Number. -Mostly verifiable counting 1 to 5 is a go here

--------------------------------------------------------
Stop there.... IDGAF+ lifers will be ok and this is verifiable.

With this C Ply on Heritage rim pull offs new you will get maybe one tire of 25 lbs or all 5 are fine. odds of all fine are about 75%. Leave spare and tell them to swap tire on general satisfaction. Leave it... come back a few days later and "A" team will do it to get you out the door.

Summary of Outcomes - GEMINI Stats
  1. The "Front Two" are guaranteed: With 5 tires to choose from, you have a 99% chance of finding at least two tires that measure under 15 lbs. These go on your front (steering) axle.
  2. The "Hidden Defect" catch: About 1 in 10 tires has an internal "hard spot" (sidewall stiffness variation) that no amount of dot-alignment can fix. The Road Force machine will catch this immediately, allowing you to swap it under warranty before you drive home.
  3. Significant Weight Savings: By match-mounting the red dot to the low spot, you'll likely use 30% fewer wheel weights, which looks much cleaner on your white Heritage rims.

I'm confused.

You start out talking about TOYO AT 3s but your link is for Toyo Open Country RTs.
Your link also states 69 pounds per tire not the 61 pounds you mention.

Yeah I clarified went with c ply RT. Balance and bounce more important to me.
So is there actually a Toyo AT3 load range C then?

And is it a 2 or 3 ply sidewall to achieve the light weight?

I had outdated info. RT is discontinued and I saw left over stock. Confusing industry.

I live near STW Direct with strong online presence. They said get KO3 in spring and will swap any tire over 25lbs roadforce and have bunch of workers so settled in future

I read the KO3s are notorious for being hard to balance.
Possible ble but they just get return if so.

KO3 is new ventless molds and likely step improvement

Yeah it is here...

Toyo Open Country A/T III in Load Range C (Part #356540) is being phased out. However, because it is a specific "enthusiast" spec (the lighter 60 lb version), many shops don't keep it in the showroom. They often have to order it from a regional warehouse, which can take 1–3 days. Extreme terrain has it but maybe discount tire can get it locally. it is confusing industry in general. This size is mostly heavier ply and some D ply makes sense too here.

I ended getting them too/ Fifth is still ion trunk. Ill just ruin the Goodyear RT on weekend
