Scrapyard painted top?

Hey all, I have a MIC hard top and I know that it will eventually fail me as they all seem to. I like the painted tops more anyway... I'm wondering, has anyone had luck looking at scrapyards for a painted top? Is it crazy to wonder if they'd sell one? I can't find any in my local market online at least. Tried car-part.com and came up short too. Curious your thoughts - I'm in Massachusetts for what it's worth.

I pray that one day I'll find such a thing. For now, the only way I see to get a secondhand painted top would be scoring a moderately wrecked Heritage from Copart.

I have been causally looking for the same. I have to imagine the longer the painted tops are around, the more might be available to us from salvage yards. Here in CO painted tops are still a rarity, but they are coming around.

There's a 2 door painted hardtop on Ebay. It has the porthole window though.

I thought that was just the Heritage trucks. When you do the build on Ford's website it doesn't show the porthole.

It is a design element on all 2DR Painted HTs. Heritage for the first year and Job1 for MY'24 had removable rear windows, also. I wouldn't trust B&P to accurately display renders. #Rockstars

Half way through the MY24 Heritage 2-door's production, Ford discontinued the removable hard top windows.
There was no explanation from Ford.
The top still has the fiberglass "lip" all around the window frame, but I haven't seen any Ford parts to enable conversion back to removable windows.

Yep, that's why I emphasized Job1 MY'24 HEs still had the removable rear windows. Job2 MY'24 HEs do not.
