Slide out tailgate?

I saw a slide out tailgate at the 2022 Super Cel TN. It was on a Evergaldes that had been brought in for exhibit. I never hear anyone mentioning getting the tailgates. Anyone here have one and what is your opinion of their usefulness, etc... ?

I ordered it on my 2022 Wildtrak. Love it!! Its perfect for tailgating and it also makes the back load floor level when seats are down!

I myself like the idea of the tables that have a Molle panel on it also.

Expecting mine at the end of the month. I added it to level the back floor and have the extra space when camping. I’m hoping it will make sleeping in the rear comfortable for overnights at trailheads for peaks that require alpine starts.

Have one on my Everglades. It’s seen more butt time than anything since it only arrived the day before Thanksgiving, but it is sturdy and I like the way it levels the cargo area. I expect is use will increase in the spring as a work area when out and about.

I love it. Good for the standard tailgating type stuff, but also a perfect changing table for the baby on longer drives with a full cargo area.

I ordered through an online dealer a few days ago and received a reply back that it's on backorder with no date when it will be fulfilled.
