So with all the new Ford products across a broad range: F150 powerboost; Lightening; Maverick, Bronco, etc, do you think Ford or any manufacturer will ever release a street legal micro off-roader?

I'm envisioning something like a street legal Polaris ranger or micro bronco/jeep with some great get up and go, and low end torque but maybe capped at around 60mph or whatever is necessary for safety reasons( not unlike a smart car or scooter).

For the prices UTVs go for you think they could get close in price, especially with the tax credits. I'm envisioning a little two seater, with an electric or hybrid engine that maybe gets 50-100 mile range. Would be fun to commute to work, super easy to putt around town and park anywhere. Could easily tow it to the trail for some hard core off-roading like a UTV and get places a jeep to bronco could never fit.

Could maybe even tow it in the bed of a super duty or charge it from your powerboost while trailering it and camping near the trail. Would be really cool for farmers, ranchers, hunters too that could use it for work and to run into town. Super easy to plug in at the end of the night and is an addition to a bronco, F150 or super duty and not at the expense of those sales.

Would anyone else be interested in something like this? Do y'all think anything like this will ever be built?
