Having hit a deer at $8000+ and wife hitting a concrete lamp post base at slow speed fir $5000 (not in Bronco) I would have guessed the OP insurance would have shelled out around $5000 for his fix.

If he would have opted fir the Lux package the Bronco would have stopped on its own with no front end damage,

The MID package and above includes automatic breaking (ford copilot 360)

LUX only adds the evasive steering

i mean yeah, why enforce laws. seems to me a fake license plate as a minimum would be cause for arrest. In some states, no insurance is a problem as well. Fake plates = fake or no registration right?
