Hey everyone sorry for beating a dead horse here but I’ve tried searching and can’t find the answer to my question

I’m installing the plug and play kit #35 and I’m wiring the kick panel speakers. I’m using the included metra 72-5602 plug harness. It’s got black and white wires that loop back around and go into the plug. Am I supposed to cut or tap into either of those wires?

Am I supposed to cut or tap into either of those wires?
Probably not, I wouldn't do anything until you find out. They probably came that way for a reason. Pics help

I modified mine. @RagnarKon did a video on how the fronts are wired in parallel (or in series--can't remember which), and he showed a modification to the harness that opened up the 4" so you wouldn't need a bass blocker. I think mine sound great with the Musway Four.100 amp...
