Was backing out of a parking spot, Bluetooth on and connected to my phone. Very minimal volume, listening to sports radio on XM app.
About 10 seconds into backing up I thought someone crashed into me when every speaker went nuclear. Full volume static until I was able to park again and turn ignition and power off. Static kept going even with no power.
Every speaker was making a loud static noise for about 6 minutes. Then went silent.
Restarted and speakers working. Ears feel like they're blown out now from that volume.
Not sure what happened or what would have happened had I been driving on the road in traffic.
Didn't see anything mentioned , so I'm posting it here for thoughts.
Video of the static from center speaker after about 3 minutes. Again, no power.
Maybe the speakers were bleeding off excess power from the amp? Scared the crap out of me.
