Steering column cover adhesion

I just noticed that the driver right vent heats up the steering wheel quite a bit when blasting the heat and the column adhesive seems to have come off or that side is affected by the heat? Left side is nice and tight. A few pictures to see left vs. Right. Is this normal? Thinking of headed to dealership to get in one and find out. Let me know if this is normal from factory. you can clearly see the difference. In the pictures.

I have the same thing going on, just the exact opposite. Left side bad, right side good.

I have not, probably won't. I have a headliner/sound-deadener falling down, my dealership has had a request in for the adhesive since December. I figure it would be the same story with this, so just taking matters into my own hands.

When I get mine back from the dealer for a bad aux switch I am going to throw a heat gun on it, then clamp it down and hope it stays put. If that doesn't work I am getting a small gauge needle and syringe to put through the stitching to inject a bit of super glue in there and clamp.
