Strongest paint for front skid plate?

Hey what’s the best paint to spray the front skid plate black that will last against rocks coming at it?

Powder coat it or spray on bed liner.

Powder coat it or spray on bed liner.

If it's just on road use, this might be a good option, but if you intend to use it off road, just rattle can it in your favorite color & it will be easy to touch up

There are powder coats that do not cancer out. We use Poly Armour on swimming pool scuppers.

No S#!t!!! It was mentioned that powder coat will cancer out if there were scratches and they got wet.

krylon fusion 2 in 1 textured matte black. Like all else have said, it's gonna scratch so will need to be touched up. we can argue all day on what crap in a can is best but at the end of it all they all need to be redone anyways so whatever is readily available and affordable

Dip your car also has a version to give extra bedliner type protection over current paint that can be removed as well

I haven’t don’t mine but, if I did, I would either use a DIY bed liner product or PlastiDip so when, ?not if) it gets scratched, it’s an easy fix!

The only thing that won't get scratched by a rock is another rock. It's called diamond. Cover the skid plate in diamonds and you should be GTG.
