Got a wild spur and decided to remove the old track bar. Super easy. 2 bolts. I had to put a jack under the passenger side on axle to get the bolt out on the driver side so it didn’t contact the brake lines removing it. Other than that anyone can do this job. Once the new Synergy track bar shows up I will post results. PS don’t tell the girlfriend about the kitchen table. 😂

Surprised hardly anyone has posted anything on Synergy products. The company is super popular in the solid axle world and has high clearance control arms for the Bronco.

Installed my new Synergy track bar. The track bar is about 16 pounds. It’s massive and has a bend that clears my diff and diff guard. Welds are smooth and paint was good. Bar had one very small nick in the paint but it wasn’t anything to cry about.

Can easily be installed on the ground, make sure to use your jack under the axel to get the track bar bolt to line up. The track bar can be adjusted while on the vehicle and not removing the track bar nuts, however you have to use your jack to lift the axel so you can spin the adjuster nut with a crescent wrench. No big deal, just loosen the 19mm bolt and use a crescent wrench to spin the adjuster nut to lengthen or shorten the bar. Out of the box the bar actually was pretty dang close to the stock bar length. I matched that length then installed it and checked to see if my axel was centered with the body. Axel is pretty dang close I need to make some minor adjustments since my lift. Comes with instructions on centering axel. The durometer bushings appear to be high quality, not sure how easy replacement is on the non adjuster side.

Haven’t driven it yet. Will report back on next Offroad trip and highway performance. 🚗

All done. Installed the stickers and finished torque to specs and axle was perfectly centered. ☺

Went on a spin around town and down I80 and got Bronco up to 85mph. Feels different but in a good way. Didn’t think a track bar make much difference, but my Bronco feels more compliant on bumps at highway speeds and the Bronco tracks straight. Rear feels stiffer but not stiff if you know what I mean. Even going around town I noticed a bit of difference in the back. Maybe it’s the huge steel bar dampening the back end vibrations and hits? I don’t know, hard to describe but definitely noticed a difference. The track bar is very expensive for track bars, but worth it in my opinion.

I think I will end up buying Synergy control arms next!

One tip for install. I went to go check the torque of my track bar bolts after driving it for a bit. The passenger side bolt would spin and I couldn’t get a wrench on it due to the design for holding the bolt in there. I stuck a grade 8 washer under the nut and bam now have more room for a box end wrench to hold the nut while tightening torquing it. I think the bracket that holds the nut is a one time use unfortunately.
