Just got my first tattoo today, after a long time of thinking about it. Not healed yet, but super happy. Red devil lure for the win!

here's some shots I pulled off the Instagram feed from my tattoo artist of my tattoo. I've got 27 hours into it (we did 12 hours in the first session)... I'm an automotive photographer, so I wanted something that captured my love of photography, my dogs, my car (a 71 Dart that I spent 11 years restoring), and my buddy's Nova, it was a year after her passed from cancer. It goes from my shoulder down to the crease of my elbow.

Nice, I almost got a wedding ring tattoo once because I hate wearing a wedding band.
I called a reputable place and was advised to skip it and come in for something else due to the skin on ones finger being too thin and it would look like sh*t over time. Thankfully silicone rings were created!! Both of my children have tattoos that fit them well. My daughter has "Faith" on her foot. My son has 'Fortune favors the bold' in Latin. He is risk taker and it has paid off in well.

thanks ... my tattoo guy is absolutely amazing - he has over a year wait to get in to see him. He's not cheap (over $100 an hour), but he's worth it. Most of what he does is more 'dark', but he did an amazing job on mine. https://www.instagram.com/getchucked13/
