Also, lowered the blinker noise - I swear someone at Ford must be hard of hearing.
I disabled the 'fake ass engine noise' - I won't know if this is good, bad, or indifferent until I hit the road.

Beautiful day today, took all the tops off - first time and did the wind proofing Mic_ Noise_Link_6G

While the top was off went for a long drive with a friend of mine who I think is now thinking of getting a Bronco LOL - His first time in a Bronco and he was loving it.

Anyway, came back home put the roof back on and back out I went to see the difference - and it does work. Highly recommend.

Installed last weekend, got my bags on Amazon and put them in today.

Install - there are 4 bolts that go into the top of the roll bar - according to the online directions they are metric #13 - the problem is that 1 bolt was a 13 the other 3 were #12 bolts and because you are basically putting them in blind, it took longer than it should have - not sure what happened there.

If you plan on taking your top off for the day - that would be the best time to do this job, it can be done with the top on, but by far those 4 bolts took more time than everything else combined, of course if you have small fingers you might not have the problems I had.

My other issue - I really wish they were black bolts to match.

Other than that - this shelf is a no brainer for people that need to store their crap.

Going over some bumps it would make some noises, so I added some nylon washers ...

Installed Mountain2Metal tailgate limiter.
Hopefully worth the cost, kind of pricy, built well for sure, I haven't limited the door opening yet, just not sure where I am going to set it yet, but I'll play with it for a bit.
That I am sure will come in handy soon, but I'm more concerned on weak points.

Install note: If you're going to replace the head that clips into the ball (F), you're going to need 2 channel locks/vice grips/ or whatever gripping tool you have to thread it in and stop the shaft from spinning in the shock. Also pad the grips, I scratch my shock up. - This is not mentioned at all in the directions or list of tools.

Also be careful not to drop the locknut into the door - it's a pain in the ass to get out.

Otherwise a very easy install.

Installed the soft top, nightmare!
Had the top off at least 1/2 dozen times, could not get the bracket lined up correctly. Scratched up the roll bar, not fun. Based on pictures from the soft top thread, thought I had it done wrong. Trip to Ford dealer for absolutely no reason.

This is what should be pictured on that thread and is the nightmare. You can't adjust it with the top on.

Good news, finally got it and one trip with top off and it was totally worth it.
New Bronco level unlocked !!!
I love love love the soft top for the summer. Very happy.
Kind of like childbirth ( or so I'm told) once it's over you forget.

Big win, wish I had ordered/ bought dual tops...
