Hey all. After calling my dealer about the Ford accessories trailer hitch for my 24 bronco I wasn't very impressed and decided I want to install it myself. I see a bunch of aftermarket kits but none have the module. Where do I get this? I plan to use forscan to make the changes

When I was looking last year the tow module was difficult to find or more expensive than the full kit. I got the full factory kit or $270 from Auto Nation Parts.

Part No. M2DZ-19H332-A

☝That's the module for 2021-2023, which should be the same module as the 2024 module. Although I will admit I haven't personally checked. (2025 is a different module.)

The module itself is from Lumen (now Motherson), but to my knowledge don't sell it outside of the Ford parts network

Once you factor in the hitch receiver, the connector, and all of the other misc. parts it's usually just as cost effective if not more cost effective just to buy the full kit: Part No. VP2DZ-15A416-B. (Can also be bought from your dealer or online one of the many dealers that sell parts online.)

4 flat was all I needed, so I installed a cheap ($79, if I remember right) Curt aftermarket kit and a Curt hitch receiver (about $100.) Easy install in less than an hour and no programming was necessary. I didn't even remove the bumper for the install. Most difficult part of the install was figuring out where to route the module's power wire.

I was told the factory towing bits in the infotainment screen wouldn't work unless programmed, but they do for me (23 WildTrak.)

I bought a VP2DZ-15A416-B kit for my 2024 but traded the car for a 2025. I asked the parts guy at the dealer about it and he said although the new one has a different part number (VS2DZ-15A416-C) everything is the same and the old should with with the new 2025+ cars too? Any ideas? I was going to sell it and get a new one

I have the 2025 badlands and when I decided to add the tow kit , the service guy told me the module was different on the 2025 models

Yeah Terry is correct. 2025-2026 has a different module and an updated kit with the part no you already mentioned.
