Forscan changes to activate 25+ trailer module?

What is a no-go mean, you don't have access to the IPC?

What version of forscan specifically are you using?

Sorry for the late reply. I used the Beta version you recommended from Forscan. Still the same message as before. I ended up calling two dealerships to see if I can bring it in for a program. Still haven’t heard back from either of them yet. I hate dealers. Was hoping I can do it myself. But I don’t want to dig further. Afraid I’ll brick a module.

The TRM is much larger (more lines/ different, it a diffrent firmware module for 2025+)
also The ipc is slightly different
720-03-02 requires (2) changes

Quick question, if I don't hardwire a brake controller and use the Bluetooth one when towing, do I still need to activate this? And I guess deactivate when I'm not towing and unplug the Bluetooth brake controller? Thnx

In your case, leave it disabled I believe

If you have blind spot /object detection, and you have the the tow module, The system will deactivate blind spot monitoring when the trailer is attached.
It would be best to use the settings above for your configuration.

Ok finally got to setting this up in forscan. I initially got TRM codes that can't be reset:

Most of my TRM values were different and I changed and wrote each individual one followed by an ignition on/off after each section. Then I did a quick search and another member in your original thread said the error was cleared after they did a Write All. I did it and all codes are now reset! Going to get a tester and try it out. Hopefully Swedemn can see this and reset his code.








2 odd things I found was in the APIM Trailer Setup Config, the hex placement seems to be different on mine. I changed 7D0-01-03 from xxxx xxx0 xx-- to xxxx xxx4 xx-- (as per the original chart) under "as built" setting but when I went into APIM easy mode, it still showed Trailer Setup Config to "disabled". So I changed the setting to enabled under easy mode and went back into the "as built" setting and it showed the xxxx xx4x xx--. The 4 was on the 7th value not the 8th. Is this an error on the original graph?

The other odd thing was under both the SODR and SODL, 'as built' setting, the values for automatic was put in. However under the corresponding easy mode menu, the transmission mode shows manual. Strangely, I checked the setting before changing anything and from factory it also showed as manual. Needless to say I have an automatic.
