1) I noticed in the video of the Bronco factory build process - they show "integrated" turn signal lights on the mirror. I just got a 2026 OB and it does not have them. When did they take them out and was there a reason? Seems like it would be mandatory for safety.....

2) If your Bronco is running with the AC or heat running - you get out and hit the locks with the remote. Will the Bronco shut off after a prescribed time?

Thx

Yes it will shut off after 15 minutes IIRC.
I think you might be able to change that time or turn it off with Forscan
And I don’t think the Bronco ever had turn signals in the mirrors. I think that was incorrect in the video.

I had the same question in reference to the side mirrors. Someone did not like our Bronco as they took a hammer or something similar and damaged our drivers side mirror beyond repair and it is DOA. While looking for a drivers side mirror replacement I came across these:

,that's part of the the "zone lighting " lights up all around the truck if you want

they got rid of it on the mirrors in 2026, (along with the garage door opener in the visor and auto dim rear view mirror on some of the higher trims?? )

Part of LUX package, or whatever it’s called these days, if they even offer it anymore.

Those white lenses on the ends of some Broncos mirrors are white spot lights, not turn signals, controlled by a switch near the headlight switch. Their usefulness is very limited tho, because they deactivate automatically above 6 mph for regulatory reasons.

US and Canadian regulations to not require turn signals located on the front fenders or side mirrors, They are merely optional here. But in Europe and China, turn signals on the fender or mirror are mandated. Thus some cars, like Ford Focus and C-max, that sold in both NA and European markets did have turn signal lights in the mirrors of US cars.

I think part of the confusion is that Ford used the base part number (-13B374/5-) for the Bronco’s spot lights that is the same as the base part number typically used for mirror turn signals (e.g. Focus, C-Max), so the part databases call them “turn signals“ even tho they are just spot lights.

sumaperformance.com has mirrors which 1) have a different convex* design which reduces blindspots significantly and 2) has not only the OEM heater and (electronic detector) Blindspot Information System (BLIS), also an in-the-mirror dot-arrow turn-signal indicator. It does not blink forwards, only to the rear. I opted for it and it works fine, but it would be great if it included a forward-directed turn signal lamp.

These are mirror lenses only, designed to go into your OEM mirror housing. If you go for the turn-signal option, you'll want to run a line through the mirror arm, into the engine bay, and connect with your OEM turn signal wiring.

*It takes a little driver's adjustment to get used to it, because, as they say, "objects are closer than they appear."

I didn’t see which section you were meaning or if on glass or mirror enclosure. The BRaptor due to width has wide running lights on mirror. Red facing rear and Amber forward. Some mistake these for turn signals.
