I have the OEM roof rack on my 4-door.
Never pleased with the look or, more practically, the support for my extended basket.
I contacted Cory Kelly at Valkyrie Off Road to ask about buying a single bar instead of the 2-bar set.
I was told they were working on a single bar for just this purpose and were adjusting the height of the supports to match the OEM rack cross rails.
Honestly, this disparity in height between OEM and aftermarket bars hadnāt occurred to me when I first asked - so Iām glad I asked and they were already making a bar to match OEM height.
(I edited the above because I wasnāt clear originally about this single bar which matches OEM height vs. the 2 bar setup which might not).
Took under 10 minutes to install and I feel better that roof loads will have better support and I like the look.

Now if someone could 3D print copies of the OEM plastic covers to match ā¦
