Vehicle shipping time frames.

What are the typical turn around times once you get a "shipped date" I live in VA and the vehicle was documented as being shipped 2/16 I had an original delivery date of 2/23 to 3/1. It didn't arrive, now being told 3/2 to 3/8 by Ford. I am having a feeling it will be changed again based on the 19 months I've been waiting already. It doesnt even show a new delivery date on the tracker website. What have you guys seen for vehicles deliverd by rail?

I am in VA and but my dealer is in Rochester. Blend date was 2/23 and it arrived in NY on 2/28.

the eta was 3/14 so it arrived 2 weeks early

So I’m over in Newport News and my bronco shipped on 3/1 via rail to Petersburg, VA. Has a few stops in between but it’s eta is 3/8. They’ll truck it from Petersburg to NN and it looks like that takes up to 2-3 days.

I’d imagine yours would probably do the same thing.

Do you have your rail car number yet?

I asked Drew for my rail car number and found out it has arrived to local rail yard yesterday. Now it's just a matter of time for it to be transported to the dealership, which isn't too far away. Fingers crossed

Good question. I don't have the answer to that one. Mine came a few days after it was actually done though.
