Does this winch come with a cordless controller? I think it did but it might not anymore.

When I bought mine last year it only came with a wired controller and inside the box was a $100 rebate card for not including the wireless controller. I was considering getting their hub controller that allows you to use your phone as a controller but haven't done that yet.

Warn had a recall on the wireless remotes last year. Apparently were not waterproof enough and as they corroded they could activate/ move the winch unexpectedly. Rather than fix it/replace bad units they just told people to stop using them and offered a rebate.

Yes, it does. The controller is both wireless and comes with a wire, in case your batteries die on the trail.

Warn website says wired controller only and that winch is compatible with the hub wireless controller which allows you to run winch from your phone.

If you see one showing it includes wired and wireless I would check the recall notice to see if it's included under that.
