Few days ago while washing it, I noticed every time I hit the handle area with hose, I can hear door locks activate. If that’s normal, what happens during an extended rainfall? Dealer says they’ve never heard of this before. Hard to believe.

The door thinks you’re putting your hand in it to enter. Your keys are on your pocket or the front seat.
Leave your keys 20ft away from the truck when you wash it and problem solved.

Exactly this. My last 2 vehicles had the same issue. Leave the keys far enough away and it’s a non-issue.

All this.

My Chrysler van (that we traded in for the Bronco) did all of this. Its ability to ignore car washes and the like, while programmed into the infotainment, was about nil.

Thanx for the quick replies.
I kind of figured it had something to do with the touch feature getting wet, but didn’t associate the key proximity to it.
So … rainfall is not an issue.

Love the Raptor. Right now I’m trying to see what kind of mpg I can get driving like an old lady. Just this one tank. So far with normal easy driving, I’m showing 19.1 and climbing. Just to see what it can get.
Then it will be back to 12-14.
it’s hard to drive slow.

I believe it, I had a problem when I went over a bump a warning appeared door ajar. Then driver door opened. I sprayed all the door latches with silicon and noticed the latches are plastic and found residual pieces of white plastic on all the door latches, so I also cleaned that up. It seems that corrected the problem. The dealer said for door to open when you hit a bump is impossible.

Every car I have owned with touch sensitive door handles have done this including a 2006 Acura, a 2012 BMW X5, my 2016 Mustang and the Bronco. My Cadillac is a coupe with the shaved doors that you have to reach in a recessed pocket to press a touch pad (similar to modern Corvettes), so that car doesn't have that behavior.

As others have said, just keep the key away as the temperature difference and the pressure of the water makes the sensors think that you are trying to open or lock the doors.

I would say absolutely normal. Mine does it, My wife's explorer does it, my 2018 Raptor did it. Nothing to worry about.
