The wheels I want for my project just went on sale and I’m wondering if 0 or -12 (17x9 wheel) would be best to run a 40x13.50R17 Nitto Trail Grappler. My setup is 3” Icon lift w/ 3” body lift on a Wildtrak.

Have you also done the JKS Max Clearance kit? No clue on what wheel offset you will need.

I have similar set up. Test fitted 40’s on 0 off set wheels, seamed to fit fine. Did have to trim back my rock sliders 1 inch to avoid contact. Ended up with staying with 37x13.5.

I’m going to cut the front bracket off as close as I can to the body mount. There’s a vid of this set up on YouTube but the vendors a little light on details unfortunately.

I have aftermarket tube steps on mine that don’t go nearly that far forward as the sliders.

you couldn’t tell me how much poke you had with 0 or better yet a picture?

Turns out the only ones I could get on sale were -12mm so thats what I went with. Hopefully it works out.

Have you had a chance to get the 40’s mounted yet. I am sure that I am not the only one who would like to see some pictures.

Unfortunately no, those ranger cab bolts were on back order in Canada and they just showed up this week.

Update on wheels though, the -12mm offset i ordered they only had 3 in stock and couldn’t find a 4th so I had to change things up. I ended up with a 17x9 0mm offset so that should keep things tucked underneath a bit better.

I’m hoping to get started on this project this coming week. I doubt I’ll get as far as fabing up bumper brackets but I’ll see if I can get pics of both lifts in minus the bumpers by weeks end.
