Hey everyone,
So I picked up a rigid backup light kit... I'm just wondering where everyone tied into the existing backup light wire at? Everything else was pretty straight forward but I wasn't sure if I could under the hood or back at the rear tail lights.
Thanks

Depends on the connector those Rigid lights use. We only have harnesses that utilize 2-Pin WP connectors or 2-pin DT connectors (which the Rigids might).

It's a 2 piece harness

1) The pigtail, that plugs in-line with the factory circuit: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystalux-wp-2-pin-in-line-bronco-tail-light-harness-2021-ford-bronco/

2) The actual harness that connects the 2 lights to the pigtail (as well as an upfitter optionally if you want to control it from an upfitter as well as in reverse):

WP 2-PIN: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystalux-wp-2-pin-reverse-harness-w-upfitter-control/

DT 2-PIN: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystalux-dt-2-pin-reverse-harness-w-upfitter-control/

Looking at my box and parts... all rigid has is a wire that you would splice in with a regular crimp connector. Really don't feel like heat shrinking and cutting a new wire. That plug and play adapter with the pig tail I can buy and cut the end off and just hook up to my single wire should work.
Thank you guys for the help

May I inquire which harness would work for a KC Flex Era 3 or Flex Era 1 ?

I'm going to revive ⁰this thread looking for expertise. I installed the RC Tubular Rear Bumper which came with a set of 60 watt, 5 Amp lights. I'm considering 3 wiring set ups.
1. Use the supplied switch and wire to a key on circut. Question: what is a good key on circut under hood and one under dash?
2. Wire to backup circut at taillight. Question: what color is backup wire at taillight? Will the factory wiring and fuse take the additional 5 amps?
3. Wire to trailer backup fuse ,58, under hood. Question: are add a fuse/taps available for a FMM type fuse?

Being lazy I'll probably do whichever is easiest, which is #2 if feasible. I have the Curt trailer wiring and can tap in to the Curt thru wire for backup, once I know the color.

Edit: the obvious answer to 2 is to use the tap linked here, but a couple things: I only need to tap one wire which u can do on the Curt thru wire. It's kinda crowded already behind the light with the Curt plugs. I don't understand how the linked pigtails can work with both LED and non as I believe wiring positions are different.
