And as I've mentioned so many times before as has Curtis on the AR badge thread, Curtis and AR took down the badge from the website due to the pre-order overload. All of us went and pre-order ed before they were in production. AR will add it back to their website once the pre-order are near finish. This way they are caught up to present instead of leaving them on website and never catching up. So sit tight if you want the AR badging and they will be back on the site.

I knew of the wait times when I purchased. That's why I bought some cheap ABS plastic script from Amazon to hold me over until the AR badges arrived.

I got the real old school because I was worried about the eBay quality. Are they real chrome or plastic that will not hold up?

Which ones? My substitutes? If so they are ABS plastic, had them on for about 4 months now with no issues. AR? If so they are CNC machined.

Total old school chromed metal. I’m assuming pot metal by what I saw when I cut and ground off the pins.
pain in the ass to get the tape on the back too.

Here's the Ford Performance which are licensed and used on the Heritage Limited, they're cheaper thru Lethal Performance than Ford.

Right now I have 3 sets of scripts, all metal:

1. From badgeslide, paid $100, chrome is perfect and they're heavy
2. The AR ones in base base in raw aluminum
3. The Ford Performance ones just because but they're no better than the badgeslide ones.

Only one set will go on my standard Heritage if I ever get it and the rest will be sold here on the market.

When I got mine, there were very few options and then that vendor stopped supplying them, but since then they are all over Amazon, eBay & Etsy. I hope my expensive one holds up, but know it's an easy replacement now with a far less pricey option. Here's where I put the last one I got:

I went with these from Stickerfab. Black chrome metal with 3M adhesive. Same badge script as the originals.
