The Bronco did great. It was a moderate trail, nothing crazy but was able to get a feel for how it handles the trail. The 360° Camera System was The Best!

Strange question - have the door handles always been body color for the Wildtrak?

Side note, have you tried Beacon Bourbon? Tried their small batch a few months ago and it was pretty good

The 2021 Wildtrak has Body Colored door handles and Gloss Black Mirrors. Originally the Wildtrak was supposed to come with a gloss back painted top as well, but considering the problems Ford had with the manufacturer they downgraded everybody to the MIC, but took $1895 off the MSRP..

Now for 2022, The wildtrak comes standard with a soft top, MIC mirrors and MIC door handles.

I just did a Wildtrak build on the Ford Website similar to my build and the 2022 costs $3000 more and is not as nice as the 2021 in my opinion.

Ahh thanks, didn't realize this. Originally I had a badlands build on reservation. And then I guess I wanted more commodity restraints because I switched to Wildtrak before that first price protection many moons ago.
Regardless, glad to see people having fun out there!

@justinp72 - I have been wanting to do this myself. I know there are bunch in the Jeep clubs that get away with it without worry. Then I also hear about $250 tickets from the popo. Is there a better time to go than others? I live on the other side of Hudson Highlands and did some trails on this side on Monday. But, I have access to avoid state land. I also don't have a crew of others with 4x4 willing to take the chance with me. I guess I have just been hesitant to go alone. Seems like it's better to have some backup.

I also see some go along Scofield Ridge - but, I would want to go with at least one other for guidance on some of the narrower parts.

I went up the access road off of Mountain lane. No cops or hikers that day, but I’ve heard of people getting tickets up there. Supposedly there’s another location that is more friendly to four wheeling off of Bullshead Road in another town up here, but I haven’t been there yet.

What trail is this? Been looking for 4x4 allowed trails in the NY/NJ area and this one isn't on the Alltrails app.

Mt. Beacon. Not supposed to go up there, but there are roads that lead up to the reservoir. Go at your own risk!

Thanks! I’ll get up there one of these days. I’m always apt to go when the area is less crowded.

I’ve lived here for years and never hiked the official breakneck - but, the blue/white trail up the backside to the tower is super nice.

Finally made it up myself. There are way more trails up there to explore than I expected. Definitely assumed it was one trail in and out. Seems like more trails are being created often.
