Like many of you guys, I’ve been all over the map when deciding what to order. I started with a BD then BL, and now thinking WT.

What am I missing about the WT compared to the BD and BL.

I know the interior is different.

Must haves for me:
V6 Auto
Sasquatch
Hardtop
Minimum Mid Package

The WT comes with all of this. Things that would be nice but not necessary are sway bar disconnect. I’m not even sure the WT comes with that.

Why aren’t more people jumping on the WT?

One main reason is how ugly the interior colors have been, some don't care for the gloss mirrors and grille, but that is all dependent on the purchaser, most love the idea of MGV in the BL

With that said, I am still hoping for a better color interior option in the WT, even if I have to wait another year, I am all for paying for what I want, and will not settle, especially since these beasts are not selling for cheap, but that's me

WT is an OBX Sas with an appearance package. Grille, Mirrors and rings on wheels are black. The interior is the tan camo or tan leather. There is a decal on the hood. If you price each out they are within a couple hundred dollars of each other.

BD/BL has MGV washout interior and rock crawling stuff. Bash plates/rock rails/ disconnect on BL/metal bumpers.

Look at the dashboard.
Top and bottom are 2002 Chrysler "please for the love of God just buy our cars" counterfeit grey, middle section is splotchy "Maaco tractor paint" black.

It really just boils down to if you want the washout and darker interior or not.

I WT with all the off road items added is a built up BL but without the washout, with lighter interior, and without the Disconnect.

I've tried...but I can't convince myself to go with the hot and dark interior.

I'm 100% in on the WT, but I definitely see why people don't go for it too:

  • If you want sway bar disco, BL it is
  • MGV: BL or BD only
  • If you don't want High or Lux, then you're just wasting money going WT
