I’m driving a 4D with a soft top.

Whenever I use the “auto close” for the window, the rear driver’s side window will go up to the top and bounce down. So I inspected and it looks to me like the weatherstripping is misaligned.

if you “inch up” the window a little at a time, you can get it to close pretty well. But the auto close will always bounce down.

Has anyone had this issue? Simple fix?

Scheduled to drop at the dealer tomorrow but wanted to see what you all could tell me first.

thanks

I'd take 30 seconds and do a window limit reset before heading to the dealer. Might fix it, might not but it's quick and easy
I’m all ears! Can you explain or send a link?

thanks

OP i have the same issue. I think a bunch of people have it and likely do not know they have it.

Basically all you have to do is a window reset.

Only pops up now and then but when it does makes me wonder if the window will explode after closing the door on it. Genius idea from ford but makes you think how it will work 10-15 years from now

What kills me is Ford KNOWS how to do frameless windows. They've been doing them for years on the Mustang. I don't understand how they did them so poorly with the Bronco.

This the one out of many window issues the reset will actually fix.
