What is everyone doing for protection of their windshields? I understand they eat up the rocks, and I live in Utah which has...marvelous...roads. Clearbra? Vivvid? Also, if anyone can provide the measurements of the windshield that would be great.

I just installed today. Hardest part was getting the initial peel going before placement. Hopefully works well
Awesome! I'm curious how something like a clear bra actually installed directly on the window would hold up. With heat, cold, etc. I've never used anything like that before, but the roads in Utah are awful and I don't want to be replacing a windshield any sooner then I have too.

I have Stek Dynoflex on my windshield. I can't vouch for if its worth it over a windshield replacement through insurance yet. So far so good, with the very small pebbles I have heard impact the windshield. If it's big enough, it will crack the windshield no matter what is on it. I've had it for around 7 months or so now and probably around 9000 miles with it.

I had Exoshield installed on my replacement windshield. Already had a rock 3 1/2 inches from pax A pillar hit. No bullseye or crack. I just hope it keeps the glass from looking sandblasted.

Good to know it's working out. I plan to have this installed before I pick up.

So does this just stick on the hood with double sided tape?

I actually went this route as well. The Exo-shield was not cost effective vs.. the low deductible & the fact I don't daily drive it. The warranty would expire in 2 years & not be worth the upfront cost while chances are having to replace a windshield out of warranty. YMMV

Be warned, Exoshield does not warranty your windshield against cracks or breaks. Only their product is warrantied. They used to sell additional insurance, but I think they stopped.
