Mine keeps telling me to please format the SD card. It’s the card I got from Wolfbox. It’s inconsistent. Sometimes it’ll do it every couple of days, sometimes it’ll be a couple weeks in between.
I have the card format reminder turned off in settings.
Between the dim screen, these pop ups, and the severe reflections I’m thinking of going back to my regular mirror.
I did have the anti glare film from Wolfbox on there for a while and it helped with the reflections, but it reduced the clarity and the brightness just a bit. If my screen weren’t already a little dim it wouldn’t have been an issue most likely.

Did you contact them? I have had a great experience with customer service/communication so far.

Is it possible to mount the cabin camera in the back to use as a child monitor?

@Jazer, question for ya. Based on your rear camera mount under the bumper have you noticed an issues with it getting dirty? That's a different place to mount that I had not considered, just wondering if that effects the video while driving.

Haven't purchased yet but seriously planning on it. Could always print up some shields to protect from road grime, but figured I'd ask about your experience so far.

The only time the view gets obscured is when it's raining. Mostly just seeing all the water your tires are kicking up behind you though, and sometimes drips going by on the lens. Hasn't been enough for me to say it *needs* to move or anything. The wind flow/turbulence underneath was causing some slight shimmying, so I added an additional piece of 3m tape to help the front part of the camera be held up to the bumper more (the bracket mounted on the back of the camera, even though it was tight, was letting it bounce ever so slightly). It's nice and stable now. I don't prefer the view over a higher mount, but I just don't like any other mounting solutions higher up. I wanted it more concealed.

One last question for you. I watched a video on YouTube where some guy had the G900 Pro on his windshield, and a G900 on his dash, showing a comparison. The G900 pro rear view looked like shit, totally washed out. Have you noticed that? Or did they do an update to fix that as this video was 9 months old.

AWESOME guidance Jazer - thank you so much! Based on this information I jumped and made the purchase.

I had two questions - I got the TriPro for the enhanced rear camera quality, and don't need the third camera. What happens with the setup if I do not setup the camera/plug it in?:
1 - Will the views with three cameras revert to two, or will there be a blank view for the third (missing) camera)?
2 - Any change you have a radar detector in play for your setup? I currently have a wire tap to the factory mirror plug that powers my detector. Do you see any issues with tucking away that adapter if I wanted to continue to use tap for detector power?

Thank you in advance!

Awesome, glad I could help!

I don't have my third camera plugged in atm because I just got a new windshield and haven't received a new sticky piece yet that they are sending... It just shows you the two cameras. No blank spots for the third, so you will have no issues not running the third camera.

* Mounting with the straps seems like an after thought. Makes it universal buttttt not a great solution.
I ordered a mounting bracket for my Wolfbox that completely swaps out the original mirror to the Wolfbox.

Now, there are reported vibrations when using this mount, and one solution was to shimmy something between the new back plate and the display, thread found here.

Other than that, great in depth review. Your thread had convinced me to buy one on Prime Day!

Glad I could help!!

I had their bracket installed within a week. I don't find it to vibrate at all. It doesn't however mount quite as snug as OEM. No issues though!

I'm just waiting for the matte screen protector and then I'll install mine. I have your post printed out so I can have on me when I do!

Commitment! Haha. Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions. Install is pretty self explanatory overall though.

@Jazer did you have to Dremel the side of the fuse box to get a good connection? Just did stickerfabs install for main power & it seems like that fuse tap is barely in

Hello! Helpful write up, how does the rear camera in that position do in the rain?
