If you mean the lower painted portion, yes that was wrapped as well. I don't think they pulled it off, but I'm not certain. They also wrapped the grille and headlights.
Yeah the lower PC below the grille opening.
I've had mine off for bumper/winch install & feel like it would be 100x easier to wrap that off the vehicle than on, given how it just pops off with like 6 body clips.

Yeah, I'm not sure. But I know for certain it's wrapped with the edges of the film folded over the edges throughout the vehicle so it's not visible.

Im not sure how much they have advanced since 2020, but mine didn't make it 4 years where the sun was directly on it. Was a pearl white and the sun turned it black and cracked it so you couldn't remove by pealing off. Definitely not confident to wrap again.

I had mine fully wrapped with PPF (except for the MIC top) last January by the company I work for, so I just paid for the materials (just under $1,000).

I was told with labor it would've been over $5K.

I'm sure you can get it done cheaper, but you often get what you pay for. Our shop takes all the exterior trim off so that they can hide the seams under the door handles, around the door edges, behind the taillights, and under the roof panels. Some shops will cut around those pieces, but the issue then is that those edges eventually collect dirt, they are visible and could eventually lead to peeling.

The film they used is made Stek and is called Stek DynoShield and is impregnated with ceramic.

I've attached pictures.

Was $6800 for PPF & ceramic, PPF included the painted hardtop on the flat parts. They took off a lot of parts to do it (mirrors, door handles, hardtop, tail lites, tailgate glass, fender flares, etc..). They also ceramic coated all plastics, glass & wheels. Xpel PPF & Xpel Pro ceramic. I have a 2dr

That plasti-dipped windshield frame looks better than I expected.
I second this. I like it. looks great rolling into the top and carryed on from the hood.

If I didn't love the eruption green so much I'd consider this.

First off I am not certain how well the film would stick to the MIC top. Secondly, while I hope it never happens, but it seems inevitable that these tops will crack over time and I don't want to give Ford any ammunition to deny a warranty claim.

Besides, the PPF is really for stone chips and scratches, and unless I fail to keep the Bronco "shiny side up", PPF on the roof isn't going to help much.

Well, that's almost six years ago, so you would hope that over time they have improved the materials.

Having said that, there's no way to tell for sure without the passage of time. If it lasts five years and comes off with the paint still like new without stone chips and scratches, thenin my opinion it was worth it.

$3500 in NorCal for full xpel stealth ppf, roll bar satin black wrap, and ceramic tint on the windshield and front windows. I guess he wasn’t kidding when he said I was getting the repeat customer discount and to not tell anyone how much I paid 😂

That is a good price, especially in California. You have a 2-door, so a little less film needed, but still a great price!

I also got the front windows tinted.

Depends on how they get the wrap off. Alot of baked on wraps can mess up the clear coat and you'll need a paint correction. Not sure how much will be accrued with install of wrap vs paying to have it removed and possibly paint correction vs just repainting a vechicle. Who knows

I'm not familiar with "Baked on" wraps. Our shop only uses low heat to get the film flexible around creases and bends.

I could see anything being "baked on" to be potentially problematic.

The early films would begin to discolor after a while. More noticeable on a white car.

The wrap on mine is guaranteed for 10 years with respect to yellowing and breaking down.
Is it still removable after 10 years? I've heard that you can't remove them after 5 or so. I'm a novice when it comes to these films. I did my door sills myself with a 3M product.

Baked meaning years in the sun that broke down the actual wrap. Google photos have plenty of examples.

Ah. Sorry. I misunderstood.

I suppose if a car sits every day in the hot sun it will have an effect.

I can’t really defend the manufacturer claims since I don’t have any first hand experience. I can only go by what they advertise and what I’ve seen with customer cars.

I shall see in 8-10 years if I still have the Bronco.

Given that amount of time I would imagine there would be minimally some paint correction and cleaning up that needs to be performed, but I would hope it’s better than a car with road rash all over the front and side of it.

Is it still removable after 10 years? I've heard that you can't remove them after 5 or so. I'm a novice when it comes to these films. I did my door sills myself with a 3M product.
The manufactures states it should be on the paint longer than 10 years, so I guess the expectation is it should come off.
