I really like the look of these @ORACLE Lighting LED dash lights. I just keep it plugged in running the orange light. It truns off and on with the vehicle start button. I use the supplied remote to change colors and presets. The app doesn't work for me... been back and forth with Oracle even switching apps... no luck there.

Just something else to make it harder to see what you need to on the dash

It plugs in at the phone charger location. The wire just runs through the seam of the panel and behind the glove compartment.

Install video shows USB plugs into center console USB port from underneath the dash.

If you want to completely hide the cord, it is not hard to use a USB line splice for behind dash mounting, as long as it includes a step down regulator (12V to 5V) and you tap at the 12V side. Those cost around $8.

I would not tap the existing 5V line to the console port; that could overload the line.

BTW, there are several $30 kits available that do the same thing. You are paying an extra $40 for Oracle to give you a controller and questionable phone app.

Really appreciate you sharing this, and glad to hear you’re liking the overall look on your setup!

That said, the app side definitely shouldn’t be giving you that much trouble, especially after trying multiple options. We'll shoot you a DM so we can grab a couple details and get this over to our team to make sure it’s properly looked into and resolved!

Which apps have you tried? I am having the same issue, I’ve tried LED LAMP and happy lighting (as that was what my oracle underglow used) and no luck so far

So I was looking on their website at their other dash lights and saw for the jeep one that it used the app “Lotus Lamp X” so I tried that one and it actually worked for me. So maybe give that a try. I had sent a chat inquiry about the app last week and haven’t gotten a reply from oracle so I’ve been trying every app I can see on their website cause I want a very specific purple colour and it’s not achievable with the remote. Hope it works for you too!

So Oracle puts out a product that uses an app to function properly and can't even tell people which app is supported?

No wonder their tail lights are crap.

It's pretty shameful that Oracle couldn't figure this out.
